The Contractor Said M25, But Our Test Said Something Else...

Last month, a civil engineer from Gota walked into our lab with a concern. His team had placed an order for M25 grade concrete for a mid-rise commercial building, but he wasn’t convinced about the quality. He just wanted to “double-check the mix design” before pouring slabs.

We started by doing a full mix design as per IS 10262:2019 and cross-checked materials under IS 456:2000. He brought the exact cement, coarse and fine aggregates, and admixture being used on site. Water-cement ratio, target strength, workability—everything was verified.

Result? The design mix from his supplier was nowhere near M25. It would’ve barely passed for M20 if placed.

We gave him our tested mix proportions—adjusted for slump, exposure condition, and available material properties. He used our trial cube report to renegotiate the supply and poured fresh, correct concrete for the next slab.

What we do here isn’t just numbers.

It’s site-specific, tested concrete mix design that you can actually use. No copy-paste formulas, no assumptions. We help contractors, RMC suppliers, site engineers, and builders across Gujarat get the right grade for foundations, slabs, columns, roads—whatever the job demands.

We follow:

IS 10262:2019 – for mix design method

IS 383 – for aggregates

IS 456:2000 – for structural concrete rules

Each mix is backed by a lab trial, cube testing, and a clear report that your structural engineer or client can approve.

Located in Ahmedabad, we offer both walk-in and pickup services. You can drop materials to our lab or we’ll coordinate a site visit.

If the grade of concrete matters to your project, don’t leave it to assumptions.

Get it tested. Get it designed. Get it right.
